Contract Description:
This contract continues the work to build-out and evolve a set of monitoring tools, namely, Monitoring Methods and Monitoring Resources, and to a lesser extent, Monitoring Advisor. More specifically, this contract focuses on expanding the functionality of the Sample Designer and Site Manager tools, but also includes the scope to make minor improvements to Monitoring Methods.

These tools are all sponsored by PNAMP, thanks to funding by BPA and other agencies and organizations. Initial development of these tools was funded under BPA projects 2004-002-00 and 2008-727-00 and development work was subcontracted by USGS in previous contracts under those projects. Despite the different contracting mechanism for this current contract, it is expected that PNAMP staff that provided project oversight and management for the USGS subcontracts will continue to provide input for the project and guidance on development as it continues. PNAMP will also continue to engage its partners and participants to solicit feedback and during the development of the tools. PNAMP staff time will be supported under their current contract (#56296) and upcoming contract (under development; CR-232933), both under project 2004-002-00.
