Contract Description:
This contract covers aspects of monitoring and evaluating habitat projects of relevance to the MOA.
The first year of this proposal will cover the following:  

a) Develop a plan to monitor and evaluate restoration actions in the Grande Ronde Basin (upper Grande Ronde and Catherine Creek), and
b) Collect  baseline data on temperature and flow using protocols that will be thoroughly developed by extensive literature survey in order to assess the effectiveness of the designed protocols; also develop fine sediment (surface and fines) analysis protocols and test methodologies in the field.
c)  Develop a long-term plan for this monitoring study and analysis for 2010 and beyond (for a 3 or 5-year initial phase).
