Contract Description:
This contract will be used to purchase capital equipment for the Carmen, Bay Horse, and Hawley creek projects.  This contract covers work to be completed by the Lemhi Soil and Water Conservation District.

Deliverables under the contract include 1. Purchase of four pivots, pump, and appurtenances for the Carmen Creek Project.  Installation of 3-phase power to irrigation system;  2.  Purchase of pipeline needed for the Carmen Creek Project; this project is in conjunction with BPA project number 2010-072-00, contract number 63697 under work element 150 Install Sprinkler.  This funding is being utilized for this project in order to purchase capitol supplies and installation of power that is not being included by other funding sources. The Natural Resource Conservation Center (NRCS) is providing $134,260 towards this project through their Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP).

3. Purchase of a bridge for Bay Horse Creek; This project is in conjunction with funding from the Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund (PCSRF)  in the amount of $112,000.00 funding from BPA for this project will be utilized  to purchase a portion of the structure and no ground disturbance and as match for the PCSRF.  

4. Purchase of a pivot for the Hawley Creek Project; This project is in conjunction with BPA project number 2010-072-00, contract number 63697 under work element 149 install pipeline. Funds from this project will be utilized to purchase a pivot due to increased costs of pipe, additional funding for the Hawley project is from the NRCS in the amount of $100,000 from the EQIP program. An additional $517,699.00 is being provided by the PCSRF program.

5. Excavation of bedrock for the fish screen installation on Hawley creek. This project is in conjunction with BPA project number 2007-399-00, contract number 63734 under work element 69 install fish screen. Funding from this project will be utilized because of the discovery of bedrock during test pit activities completed by the IDFG which were not anticipated initially.m
