Contract Summary

The objective of this contract is to complete project-level habitat monitoring and evaluation activities in support of, and in collaboration with, a Programmatic Approach for Action Effectiveness Monitoring (AEM) developed by the Northwest Fisheries Science Center and the Bonneville Power Administration. Specifically, a multiple before-after control-impact (MBACI) experimental design will be utilized to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partial passage barrier projects implemented in Northeast Oregon and North-Central Idaho. Collaboration and support will be extended to AEM coordinators at Cramer Fish Sciences to analyze and interpret the data, as well as for the completion of associated reports for the Programmatic AEM MBACI activities. As new protocols for AEM monitoring of floodplain projects are currently under development by Cramer Fish Sciences, additional habitat monitoring that is not currently associated with the AEM program will be conducted under this year’s contract.
