Contract Description:
%  This contract includes a No Cost Time Extension for the continuation of the original scope of work and associated work elements through December 31, 2013. The need for the time extension is to fill a gap between the original contract September end date and an upcoming BPA construction grant contract for the project, beginning in January 2014. Cascadia staff needs to continue working with the landowners, conducting public meetings, developing the design details, and work with permit applications in preparation for project construction in 2014. In addition to submitting the permit applications, there may be information requests by the permitting agencies and other permit management tasks to complete during this time period. Continuing the project through December  will provide continuity during the transition to construction, as well as the opportunity to respond promptly to any partner agency needs related to the project.
