Contract Description:
MSRF has contracted with the YN to assist with identifying properties for acquisition and protection in the Methow Basin. Under the current contract MSRF is providing interim stewardship and management assistance on three properties: Upper Beaver Creek - Old School House, Upper Beaver Creek Ranch, and Amundson. Work activities proposed during this contract period are described in the statement of work and can be characterized as interim management efforts as these projects transition from active development to long term stewardship.

Required Plans:
- compliance checklist to document landowner issues
- stewardship report to document deviations and compliance with CE objectives
- LMP update in the event of sale or significant deviations identified in Stewardship update
Proposed Work:
- noxious weed infestation monitoring and control
- revegetate areas, and post-veg monitoring and management
- habitat structures and work areas: monitoring and documentation
- water efficiency: advise/assist landowners on future trust and continued use
-assist landowners in post-fire recovery activities

- land management plan to coincide with resale

- develop purchase and sale agreement
- complete appraisals as required
- coordinate tax/ag/open space continuance as required

- water efficiency: advise/assist landowners on future trust and continued use
- evaluate prior water trust agreements prior to sale
