Contract Description:
The goal of this project is to operate and maintain Ford Hatchery to enhance the recreational  kokanee fisheries in Banks Lake.  The Ford Hatchery will augment production at Spokane Tribal kokanee hatchery by producing 700,000 Kokanee @ 60/lb. totaling 11,666 lbs. for Banks Lake.


Non-BPA funded activities:
In addition to the 700,000 at 60 fpp, Ford Hatchery will release 147,000 Kokanee into Banks Lake @ 200/lb. in June.  This program is funded by WDFW.   Ford Hatchery's production will contribute to 847,000  kokanee fry/fingerlings for Banks Lake. Current objectives included the increased use of native/indigenous stocks where available for propagation in the Lake Roosevelt subbasin.
