RSS
RSS technology lets you subscribe to online information that changes frequently. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.
We provide a wide range of RSS feeds on CBFish, based on the primary items we manage:
- Projects - e.g. https://www.cbfish.org/Feeds.mvc/Project/2002-002-00
- Portfolios - e.g. https://www.cbfish.org/Feeds.mvc/Portfolio/20
- BOG Change Requests - e.g. https://www.cbfish.org/Feeds.mvc/ChangeRequest
- Meetings - e.g. https://www.cbfish.org/Feeds.mvc/Meeting
There are many ways to access RSS feeds. Below are instructions for setting up RSS feeds on common email applications.
Outlook 2007
- Select "Account Settings" from the Tools menu.
- Click the RSS Feeds tab and then click "New".
-
Enter/paste the CBFish RSS feed you're interested in. Examples:
https://www.cbfish.org/Feeds.mvc/Project/2002-002-00 (a feed for a specific project)
https://www.cbfish.org/Feeds.mvc/Portfolio/20 (a feed for the CRITFC Fish Accord Portfolio)
https://www.cbfish.org/Feeds.mvc/ChangeRequest (a feed for ALL Change Request activity)
- Click Add, then OK, then Close.
Outlook 2003 or earlier
-
Older versions of Outlook do not natively support adding RSS feeds. There are third-party add-ins
such as RSS Popper but we can not vouch for them.
Mac Mail
- Select "Add RSS Feeds..." from File menu.
-
Select "Specify the URL for a feed" and enter/paste the CBFish RSS feed you're interested in. For example:
https://www.cbfish.org/Feeds.mvc/Portfolio/20 (a feed for the CRITFC Fish Accord Portfolio)
- Click Add.

If you don't want to view RSS feeds through your email client, you can use your internet browser or one of the dozens of
stand-alone RSS reader applications such as Google's Reader.
