Title:

J: 157 - Obtain Biological Fish data - Collect Adult Kokanee

Description:

In October we will collect kokanee for otolith collections (to determine release strategy success). All hatchery produced kokanee in Banks Lake are otolith marked based on their release strategy, spring fry release, fall fingerling release and spring net pen yearling release. Kokanee are also collected during creel surveys to acquire otoliths for mark identification.

Collection and capture of otoliths for age analysis and mark validation, and fish lengths and weights. Enter data into a computer spreadsheet/database. Validate data entry with the EXACT quality control function.

Results from WE 157 will be included in annual report and progress will be reported in quarterly staus reports.
