B: 160 - Create Nutrient Database
Description:
Statistical Consulting Services has constructed a customized web-based relational database. This database is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Web services on the computer are provided by Apache Web Server software. Access is available via a Web-based interface programmed in the PHP programming language and HTML. Currently bio-monitoring data from different trophic levels has been uploaded into designated components of the relational database. Water chemisty chlorophyll, algae taxonomy, macroinvertebrate and fish data will be uploaded as lab identification is completed. Exploratory summary and graphical routines will subsequently be implemented for each of the specified components, as needed. More sophisticated options, such as data censoring, multi-year-trophic level plotting displays, dynamic maps, etc, will be incorporated on need/funding basis. Expanded user profiles will be created, and security will be implemented at a level requested and specified by the project staff.

Deliverables will include database function enhancements (summary, correlative graphing and plotting functions ), Database will also include indexes and metrics specific to different trophic levels (components of chlorophyll, %EPT, biotic index, insect life stage, etc.).
