Assess Status and Trends of the ocean/plume and report on variations in ocean derived limiting factors or threats.
Management Question:
What are the status and trends of limiting factors or threats in the ocean/plume preventing the achievement of desired habitat or fish performance?
Guidance:
Provide results on the status and condition of Ocean and plume indices including but not limited to Up welling, temperature, Flow, turbidity, prey and predator abundance, etc. and provide guidance for optimal conditions that may be used by resource managers.
Assess ocean and plume uncertainties
Management Question:
What are the relationships between ocean and plume conditions and fish survival?
Guidance:
Provide results that explain relationships between environmental conditions; and juvenile and adult survival in the Columbia River plume and ocean and provide guidance for optimal conditions that may be used resource managers.
