Work Element Usage Report

Title:

H: 40 - Livestock Exclusion Fencing - Corral Creek/IDL Property (Grazing Allotment)

Description:

Complete construction of cattle exclusion fencing on pasture and rangelands to reduce sedimentation, reduce nutrient loading, reduce stream temperatures, increase/maintain summer flows and increase riparian habitat complexity. The land is owned by the Idaho Department of Land and leased for cattle grazing.

Fencing will be will be installed to manufacturer's specifications and in a manner consistent with IDL's applicable grazing management plans. Several breaks in the exclusion fencing will be left to allow cattle migration access to both sides of the stream.

Fence materials will be delivered by pickup and ATV and installed manually. On average, the fencing will be placed approximately 30 feet from top-of-bank on both sides.

This work element was initiated under contract #43283 as Work Element K. The work will be completed under this contract.
