Bid advertisement has to be approved by the County Commissioners. The contract is advertised locally and statewide. This task includes hosting a mandatory pre-bid meeting for contractors on site. Once advertised, CCNRD staff will review all bids. CCNRD may advertise separately for earthwork and revegetation contracts. |

Construction of the bridge and associated earthwork is anticipated to take 4 months and CCNRD staff will be on site daily to ensure environmental compliance, construction to design specifications, and evaluate any change order requests. CCNRD staff will oversee access road construction, grading for floodplain connection, access road removal, and revegetation. In addition, CCNRD staff will be on site for much of the pile driving and bridge construction due to the close relationship of the two project elements. |
