Description:
The ODFW will monitor and contribute to key regional forums where policies, programs, and actions that affect fish and wildlife are planned and implemented. ODFW will participate in these forums to communicate their position as needed. ODFW will monitor and provide information updates and analyses on current activities of various forums within the Columbia River Basin that may impact Oregon's interests. Key regional forums may include, but are not limited to, the Northwest Power and Conservation Council (Council), US Army Corps of Engineers (COE) Columbia River mitigation forums, Regional Implementation Oversight Group (RIOG), the Pacific Northwest Aquatic Monitoring Partnership (PNAMP), Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB), Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Forum (PCSRF).

Deliverable Specification:
ODFW staff will participate in F&W Program related forums and meetings. Our level of participation in any particular forum will depend on the urgency and significance of the issues being addressed given emergent and competing commitments related to the F&W Program. Key activities may include, but are not limited to, attendance and participation in:
• NPCC F&W committee meetings
• Routine communication and coordination with NPCC central and state staff and with state, tribal, and federal co-managers regarding NPCC related issues,
• The NPCC Regional Coordination Forum
• Coordinated Assessments work groups
• Ad hoc planning teams for NPCC F&W Program amendments, categorical reviews, implementation plans and strategies, etc.
• NPCC sponsored Columbia Basin white sturgeon workshops
• Lamprey workgroups
• The Fish Passage Oversight Committee
• The NPCC Program Evaluation and Reporting Committee (PERC)
• Development of a NPCC Research Plan
• NPCC sponsored Science Policy Exchanges
• Attendance at Comparative Survival Study sponsored meetings and workshops.
• Pacific Northwest Aquatic Monitoring Partnership (PNAMP) sponsored workshops that address data sharing and monitoring designs
• The USACE Anadromous Fish Evaluation Program (AFEP) and associated groups
• The USACE General Investigations Feasibility Study forums to identify habitat mitigation projects in the Columbia River Basin below Bonneville Dam
ODFW will keep and make available any materials published for the purposes of coordination as well as document the outcomes of coordination, including new policies.
