Title:
H: 159 - Compile existing information on fish sampling data from specific gravel pit locations
Description:
This work will be subcontracted to USGS Oregon Water Science Center.

Information that will be compiled and reviewed by USGS will include fisheries datasets from gravel pit locations in the Willamette Basin collected by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW), Oregon State University (OSU), and others partners who have done similar collections.

These data will be examined to determine how native and non-native fish species may be using both restored and non-restored gravel pit sites, and to determine if the data indicate that restoration activities are affecting native fish communities at these locations.
WE Agreement Type:
Contracted
Deliverable Specification:
Compilation and review of fisheries data will begin in June of 2020 and extend through December of 2020.

Findings from the compilation will be shared in a presentation that will likely occur February - March of 2021 describing preliminary findings from the monitoring program.

Full documentation of the data compilation will be included in the USGS report of gravel pit restoration. The draft of this report will be produced by summer of 2021 and will utilize OWEB funding for activities after May 31, 2021.
