Description:
Rear and release up to 225,000 rainbow trout. These fish will then be reared over winter in SCH net pens and/or raceways for release into Lake Roosevelt after the spring drawdown.

Deliverable Specification:
Rear and release up to 225,000 rainbow yearlings in the raceways and net pens at Sherman Creek for release into Lake Roosevelt. These fish when necessary will be transferred back into the raceways at SCH for spring rearing to facilitate holding the fish past the flood control reservoir drawdown. They will be reared under current WDFW fish culture guidelines which include density, flow, feeding and health specifications found in part in US Fish & Wildlife Service, Fish Hatchery Management Manual, Piper, R.G., 1982.

This may require up to 18 live haul tanker loads at 1,500 pounds each transferred within the project area..
