Deliverable Specification:
PNNL will produce a report of project activities, the primary deliverable for this work, to be submitted by October 31, 2022. Additionally, publishing the results of Estuary Uncertainties research in the peer-reviewed literature is fundamental to a strong scientific basis for CEERP. During the project period, PNNL will complete and submit manuscripts on water temperature, shallow water habitat area, suspended sediment, and synthesis. The latter paper will summarize and synthesize impacts on ecological alterations to biophysical factors and Key Ecological Attributes, as caused by diverse impacts on the LCRE. Published work will be summarized and cited in the report and unpublished work will be reported in full. Five papers are in preparation and three are expected to begin preparation in the proposed project, as detailed in the statement of work.
During the project period, PNNL will summarize progress and status of EU-related manuscripts in the FY22 annual report for Project No. 2002-077-00 and present them at the Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation biennial conference in November 2021. Researchers on the team will participate in regional CEERP forums to disseminate results and coordinate with the action agencies, NOAA, ERTG, and regional stakeholders to address CEERP uncertainties. Activities are subject to change based on adjustments to the CEERP schedule and priorities; changes will be coordinated during regular communication with the BPA Estuary Lead.
