Description:
Tribal staff will manage both the Shitike Creek Headworks Removal and Log Springs Meadow restoration projects to completion (pending extreme fire restrictions). This WE will include all the activities required to manage these complex projects. All the coordination, communication, and onsite day to day contractor management required to keep these projects moving forward towards completion will fall under this work element.

Deliverable Specification:
A completion report summarizing the implementation of the project will be developed and uploaded to this contract. The completion report will also serve as a deliverable for the cost share funding associated with these projects.

Description: The work completed under this milestone is ongoing from bid announcement development during contract 87255 (CCR-46753). The extension of the timeline for the Log Springs Meadow Restoration will require internal contract amendments to ensure a continuation of the construction started in 2021. Due to the winter shutdown additional mobilization will required with a cost and timeline need to be developed. Preparation for the start of the Shitike Creek Headworks Removal restoration implementation will require the removal of two unused power poles prior to advertisement of the construction contract. Delivery of the LWD needed for the project implementation will have to be contracted as will the implementation of the restoration design. LWD is being provided/donated from a on-reservation stand already planned for harvest by CTWS.
