D: 70 - Install and maintain weir/traps on East Fork Salmon River.
Description:
Weirs are maintained to monitor anadromous Chinook salmon migration in the East Fork of the Salmon River (EFSR) and to monitor spawning behavior of captive reared adults released to the study area in the EFSR. Environmental compliance permits will have approval before implementation.

Deliverable Specification:
Removal of the EFSR temporary picket weir (installed under previous contract in July, 2007) after Chinook salmon spawning is complete between October 1 and October 31, 2007 to allow free passage of fish in the East Fork Salmon River. Install picket weir on the East Fork Salmon River to contain fish within study area for observation. Weir will be installed between July 1 and August 1, 2008.
