Title:
B: 162 - Analyses of summer flow augmentation to determine its effect on fish survival.
Description:
Proof data. Assess the performance of the passage forecast. Use the single release-recapture model to estimate survival probability to the tailrace of Lower Granite Dam for each of four sequential within year release groups, use these survival estimates to validate the 1998-2000 survival model developed for juvenile fall Chinook salmon, and then predict what survival would have been if summer flow augmentation had not been implemented. Make presentations to managers and coordinate information with other projects related to fall Chinook salmon recovery (e.g., USACE transportation and spill research)
