Description: Prepare inventory assessments for landowners site. This encompasses the first 4 steps of the planning process. Site specific problems and opportunities are identified, the landowner objectives are determined, resources are inventoried, and then analyzed to set the stage for formulating alternatives. Inventory includes identifying off stream water sources, power availability, soils present, cultural resources, T&E species, and information relative to the landowner's operation. Site assessments are done to determine adequacy of riparian plant community including ground cover, shrub, and tree components. The USDA NRCS Stream Visual Assessment Protocol is also completed as part of the process.
