A165Produce Environmental Compliance DocumentationConfirm BPA EC Lead has permitsProvide ESA and MMPA permit documents to BPA EC Lead-- covered under permits for master NOAA contract.
B119Manage and Administer ProjectsRoutine contract administrationProject management includes preparing FY13 September accruals, managing budgets and providing information to BPA as requested.
C157Collect/Generate/Validate Field and Lab DataNektonic Species sampling - Plume & coastal Oregon & WashingtonMeasure composition, distribution, and abundance of pelagic and nektonic species, including salmonids in 2013 in the Columbia River plume region.Chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) - All Populations, Coho (Oncorhynchus kisutch) - Lower Columbia River ESU (Threatened), Steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) - All PopulationsSockeye (Oncorhynchus nerka) - All Populations
D162Analyze/Interpret DataAssess the role of the plume on salmon growth and survivalData will be collected to determine the following: Through analytical assessment of biological features of juvenile salmon in and out of the Columbia River plume, assess the role of unique features of the Columbia River plume that affect salmon growth and survival. Juvenile salmon species will be confirmed from cruise sampling, weighed and measured, and dissected. Samples will be distributed for analyses to assess genetic composition, growth characteristics, food consumed. Identify food habits and relationship to juvenile salmon metrics in and out of the Columbia River plume. Identify prey field abundance and species composition Continue to develop and refine indicators Database will be updated. Data regarding each individual juvenile salmon sampled in 2012 and some information from sampling in 2013, including species, size, location of capture, associated oceanographic conditions of sample site, food composition, and growth features will be entered into an MS Access database of all juvenile salmon sampled from this project for the period beginning in 1998 to the present. Datasets will be incorporated to the updated Access database including current sample analysis.Chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) - All Populations, Coho (Oncorhynchus kisutch) - Lower Columbia River ESU (Threatened), Steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) - All PopulationsSockeye (Oncorhynchus nerka) - All Populations
E185Produce CBFish Status ReportPeriodic Status Reports for BPAThe Contractor shall report on the status of milestones and deliverables in Pisces. Reports shall be completed either monthly or quarterly as determined by the BPA COTR. Additionally, when indicating a deliverable milestone as COMPLETE, the contractor shall provide metrics and the final location (latitude and longitude) prior to submitting the report to the BPA COTR.
F132Produce Progress (Annual) ReportSubmit 3 Reports to BPA* Main Annual Report will be covered by main NOAA FY13 contract for Plume Project (contract 46273 REL X) and will be attached in Pisces at project level by Kym Jacobson. OSU's portion will cover 10/1/12-9/30/13. ** HOWEVER, OSU is responsible for 2 other reports (see #2 & #3 in Deliverable Specification)
