  • If the full range of fish culture activities is performed under a contract, use 176. Produce Hatchery Fish.
  • Any use of 66. Trap/Collect/Hold/Transport Fish - Hatchery requires an annual production plan for those fish. Use 174. Produce Plan - Hatchery Production Plan to cover work to develop this plan. The plan will cover all species trapped/collected/held/transported under the contract. For each species, where applicable, the plan will include a forecast for the next adult return and the number retained for broodstock, disposition of excess fish, assumptions about survival between life stages, number of individuals to be released at each life-stage, transportation, and acclimation plans, etc. The plan will be provided electronically to co-managers and attached in Pisces to the contract under which the fish are reared.
  • For contracts that also include 61. Maintain Artificial Production Facility/Infrastructure, where an annual maintenance plan is required, the annual production plan(s) and the maintenance plan may be combined into a single document titled "Annual Operating Plan" (AOP).
  • Maintenance of a trapping/collection/holding facility is covered under 61. Maintain Artificial Production Facility/Infrastructure
  • All put and take fishery work is covered under 187. Put and Take Fisheries.
  • 165. Produce Environmental Compliance Documentation must also be used in the SOW to describe environmental compliance activities necessary for this activity.

  • Rule 1 : Any ESA, NEPA, permitting, or other environmental compliance work should be split out under 165. Produce Environmental Compliance Documentation.
