Contract Number:
Contract Title:
2008-111-00 EXP TWIN LAKES ENHANCEMENT
Contract Start Date:
4/1/2018
Contract End Date:
3/31/2020
Title:
E: 162 - Analyze and interpret data
Description:
Biological and physical parameters will be compared to historical data and between lakes to decipher the effects of hypolimnetic oxygenation operations ending. Parameters to be analyzed consist of: dissolved oxygen levels, water quality variables, zooplankton abundance, and trout condition and growth (data obtained from a different project). Overall, the primary goal of the analysis is to determine if ending hypolimnetic oxygenation operation in North Twin Lake has negatively impacted the fisheries.
WE Agreement Type:
Contracted
Deliverable Specification:
Biological and physical parameters will be compared to historical data and between lakes to differ the effects of hypolimnetic oxygenation. Parameters to be analyzed consist of: dissolved oxygen levels, water quality variables, zooplankton abundance and assemblage, and trout condition and growth.

A PUBPROTOCOL Review, revise, and publish Study Design and Methods in monitoringmethods.org 4/1/2018 3/30/2019 Canceled Amy Mai 3/7/2019 8:10:46 AM
Description: The Study Design (including temporal and spatial design) and Methods for this work element are stored at monitoringmethods.org and need to be finalized (i.e., "Published" through monitoringmethods.org), preferably prior to data collection. Preparations for contract renewals must include reviewing any previously published Study Design/Methods to ensure that they are consistent with how work will be done in any subsequent contract.
B Assimilate data from all sources 11/1/2018 3/29/2019 Canceled Amy Mai 3/7/2019 8:10:46 AM
Description: Water quality and plankton densities data will be obtained from Washington State University. Trout growth and condition data will be obtained from the Colville Confederated Tribes Resident Fish Hatchery Monitoring and Evaluation program.
C Analyze data 11/1/2018 3/29/2019 Canceled Amy Mai 3/7/2019 8:10:46 AM
Description: The analyses will compare 2008-2018 data from North Twin Lake and South Twin Lake. Specifically data will be paired by sampling times between the two systems to observe differences that may have resulted from oxygenation and ending its operation. Additionally, differences in data trends between the two systems will be assessed.
D DELIV Analysis of water quality, fish, and plankton data. 3/29/2019 Canceled Amy Mai 3/7/2019 8:10:46 AM
Description: Biological and physical parameters will be compared to historical data and between lakes to differ the effects of hypolimnetic oxygenation. Parameters to be analyzed consist of: dissolved oxygen levels, water quality variables, zooplankton abundance and assemblage, and trout condition and growth.
