Title:

C: 70 - Screw Trap Installation and Upkeep

Description:

This work element is a necessary activity for continued monitoring of the spring Chinook salmon and steelhead populations under this investigation. Removal and installation of rotary screw traps occur occasionally and are generally associated with periods of extreme environmental conditions or periods of unsafe conditions for the species being collected. Rotary screw traps will be operated whenever conditions are favorable, and maintenance of sites and equipment will be performed as needed.
