A162Analyze/Interpret DataProvide RealTime predictionsThis task estimates in real time the “percent of run to date” and the “date to specified percentiles” during the spring and summer smolt outmigration periods for 46 salmonid stocks, ESUs, and composite groups. Results are posted daily on the DART website, http://www.cbr.washington.edu/crisprt/. The task ends with an end-of-year evaluation of the accuracy of the run-timing predictions.Chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) - All Populations, Coho (O. kisutch) - Unspecified Population, Coho (Oncorhynchus kisutch) - Lower Columbia River ESU (Threatened), Sockeye (Oncorhynchus nerka) - All Populations, Steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) - All PopulationsChum (Oncorhynchus keta) - Columbia River ESU (Threatened)
B162Analyze/Interpret DataIntegrate performance measuresThe BiOp, Remand, and RM&E working groups have identified a myriad of performance measures to be evaluated during check-ins and recovery assessments. This task will continue the development and update of an integrated performance database to allow fish managers, independent investigators, the BPA, and the public to evaluate for themselves the status and trends of performance measures leading to recovery decisions. New databases will be added as directed by BPA needs. The interactive software on the internet will allows users to review information sorted by stock, location, province, subbasin, performance measures, or any combination thereof. The site also assists users in summarizing the information based on their own unique priories for recovery. Geographical-based searches of the monitoring and evaluation data will continue to be enhanced.Chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) - All Populations, Coho (O. kisutch) - Unspecified Population, Coho (Oncorhynchus kisutch) - Lower Columbia River ESU (Threatened), Sockeye (Oncorhynchus nerka) - All Populations, Steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) - All PopulationsChum (Oncorhynchus keta) - Columbia River ESU (Threatened)
C162Analyze/Interpret DataLife-cycle analysesThe results of the 2007 retrospective ROSTER analysis of juvenile and adult salmonid PIT-tag data will be prepared for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. A retrospective analysis of the joint juvenile and adult PIT-tag data from wild salmonid stocks will be analyzed in ROSTER and a hatchery vs. wild comparison performed.Chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) - All Populations, Coho (O. kisutch) - Unspecified Population, Coho (Oncorhynchus kisutch) - Lower Columbia River ESU (Threatened), Sockeye (Oncorhynchus nerka) - All Populations, Steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) - All PopulationsChum (Oncorhynchus keta) - Columbia River ESU (Threatened)
D162Analyze/Interpret DataProvide independent analytical capabilitiesTo help fulfill the BPA's annual reporting responsibilities and management responsibilities for power production and resource protection, this task provides the BPA with analytical capabilities to peer review reports, independently analyze data, and respond to quantitative technical issues. These statistical services are provided to BPA on an "as needed" basis as resource issues arise requiring analysis. This effort also provides the BPA with the ability to peer review proposed study plans and technical reports.Chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) - All Populations, Coho (O. kisutch) - Unspecified Population, Coho (Oncorhynchus kisutch) - Lower Columbia River ESU (Threatened), Sockeye (Oncorhynchus nerka) - All Populations, Steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) - All PopulationsChum (Oncorhynchus keta) - Columbia River ESU (Threatened)
E119Manage and Administer ProjectsProject managementManagement of personnel, financial reporting, budget planning, property inventory, and development of SOW.
F132Produce Progress (Annual) ReportSubmit annual report to BPAAn annual report will be produced to describe project accomplishments during the previous year in a non-technical manner. Description of software created and statistical analyses performed will be provided. The annual report will include a summary of technology transfer efforts and outreach to the fisheries community through statistical consulting.
G185Produce CBFish Status ReportPeriodic Status Reports for BPAThe Contractor shall report on the status of milestones and deliverables in Pisces. Reports shall be completed either monthly or quarterly as determined by the BPA COTR. Additionally, when indicating a deliverable milestone as COMPLETE, the contractor shall provide metrics and the final location (latitude and longitude) prior to submitting the report to the BPA COTR.
