Contract Description:
This project will restore plant native species to restore diverse habitats on 64 acres disturbed by grading and excavation to restore floodplain channel complexity on the larger 195-acre project site at the confluence of the Coast & Middle Forks of the Willamette River.  The project involves three contiguous properties owned by project partners: Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah (Friends), The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Oregon Parks & Recreation Dept (OPRD).  The project will restore: 1) Emergent Wetland (5.36 acres),  2) Forested Wetland (3.57 acres), 3) Riparian Forest (29.78 acres), 4) Scrub-Shrub Wetland (10.65 acres), and 5) Prairie/Savanna (12.56 acres).
