The stocking of a pond, lake or reservoir with hatchery reared fish for recreational fishing purposes. This includes the transport and stocking of the fish, and the operation and maintenance of the recreational facilities, e.g., bathrooms and access roads. Use a separate work element for each species.

  • Rule 2 (Location of Work): Several put and take fisheries in different locations may be either combined under one work element or separated, depending on the local conditions. At different locations within the same subbasin, you may lump them under a single work element. However, you may wish to split the different locations into separate work elements if it helps provide clarity for project management purposes.

    If fish are acclimated and released into separate subbasins, you must use a separate work element for each subbasin, but you may have multiple locations within each subbasin.
