| J | 66 | Trap/Collect/Hold/Transport Fish - Hatchery | Trap, transport, hold and release anadromous Sockeye salmon | Trap returning anadromous Sockeye Salmon at Redfish Lake Creek and Sawtooth FH. Transport anadromous Sockeye to Eagle FH. After genetic information has been analyzed, Sockeye determined to be released will be transported to Redfish and/or Pettit lakes in September. Sockeye required to meet egg production goals will be held and incorporated into the spawning matrix at Eagle FH. After August 7, Sockeye Salmon trapped at Redfish Lake Creek may be direct released above the weir at Redfish Lake Creek. Sockeye Salmon trapped at Sawtooth FH may be released upstream or transferred to Eagle FH.
*Emergency trap and haul may be implemented at other project facilities (i.e., Lower Granite, Ice Harbor trap facilities, etc.,) when environmental and fish passage conditions are determined harmful for Sockeye passage. IDFG will work with NOAA, COE, BPA and other state and Tribal agencies when implementing emergency tap and haul procedures. | Sockeye (O. nerka) - Snake River ESU (Endangered) | |
