A | 163480 | 185 | Produce CBFish Status Report | Periodic Status Reports for BPA | The Contractor shall report on the status of milestones and deliverables in Pisces. Reports shall be completed either monthly or quarterly as determined by the BPA COTR. Additionally, when indicating a deliverable milestone as COMPLETE, the contractor shall provide metrics and the final location (latitude and longitude) prior to submitting the report to the BPA COTR. | $500 | 0.18% | 04/01/2017 | 12/31/2017 |
B | 163481 | 165 | Produce Environmental Compliance Documentation | Confirm BPA EC Lead has permits | Provide ESA and MMPA permit documents to BPA EC Lead-- covered under permits for lead NOAA contract. | $0 | 0.00% | 01/01/2017 | 05/01/2017 |
C | 163482 | 119 | Manage and Administer Projects | Routine contract administration | Project management includes preparing FY17 September accruals, managing budgets and providing information to BPA as requested. | $1,500 | 0.54% | 01/02/2017 | 12/31/2017 |
D | 163483 | 157 | Collect/Generate/Validate Field and Lab Data | Nektonic Species sampling - Plume & coastal; Oregon & Washington | Measure composition, distribution, and abundance of pelagic and nektonic species, including salmonids in 2017 in the Columbia River plume region. | $100,000 | 36.14% | 01/02/2017 | 12/31/2017 |
E | 163484 | 162 | Analyze/Interpret Data | Assess the role of the estuary and plume on salmon growth and survival | Data will be analyzed for the following objectives: 1. Assiist NOAA in continuing to identify and refine the suite of estuary, plume and ocean indicators that best predict adult returns and survival and support the use of early warning indicators for listed interior Columbia Basin ESU and DPS. 2. Assist NOAA in examining the extent of coupling among estuarine, plume and early ocean habitats and marine survival of interior Columbia juvenile salmon and steelhead. OSU collaborators will assist NOAA with the following: 1) Analytical assessment of biological features of juvenile salmon in and out of the Columbia River plume and to assess the role of unique features of the Columbia River plume that affect salmon growth and survival. 2) Juvenile salmon species will be confirmed from cruise sampling, weighed and measured, and dissected if warranted. 3) Continue to develop and refine indicators of juvenile salmon survival. 4) Database will be updated. Data regarding each individual juvenile salmon sampled in 2017 and some information from sampling in 2016, including species, size, location of capture, associated oceanographic conditions of sample site, and growth features will be entered into an MS Access database of all juvenile salmon sampled from this project for the period beginning in 1998 to the present. 5) Datasets will be incorporated to the updated Access database including current sample analysis. | $167,227 | 60.43% | 01/01/2017 | 12/31/2017 |
F | 163485 | 161 | Disseminate Raw/Summary Data and Results | Present Findings at Salmon Ocean Ecology Meeting | Results of our BPA-funded research that are related to oceanographic indicators and ocean growth and survival of juvenile Chinook salmon and steelhead will be presented. This workshop (Salmon Ocean Ecology Meeting {SOEM}) will bring together experts from different disciplines to exchange observations, results, models and ideas for understanding and integrating survival of Pacific salmon including those from the Columbia River Basin. | $6,000 | 2.17% | 07/01/2017 | |
G | 163486 | 132 | Produce Progress (Annual) Report | Provide information to NOAA for Submittal of Annual RME 2016 Report to BPA | Deliver Info to NOAA for 2016 RME Technical & Annual Report * Main RME Report will be covered by main NOAA FY17 contract for Plume Project and will be attached in Pisces at project level by NOAA lead Kym Jacobson. The RME report will cover 2016 and will be in lieu of an Annual Report. | $1,500 | 0.54% | 01/01/2017 | 02/28/2017 |
