Deliverable Status:
Required
Default Deliverable Desc:
Passable Road
Potential Deliverables:
  • Miles of road improved

  • Rule 1 (Environmental Compliance): ESA, cultural resources, permitting, and other environmental compliance work must be split out as a separate work element under 165. Produce Environmental Compliance Documentation.

    Example:

WE: 38. Improve Road for Instream Habitat Benefits
WE Title: FS Road #1845 at Danson Creek
WE Description: Grade and gravel 2.3 miles of FS Road 1845 at Danson Creek.

WE: 165. Produce Environmental Compliance Documentation
WE Title: Provide Environmental Compliance documentation to BPA for road improvement activities

  • Rule 2 (Location of Work): You may lump multiple locations under a single work element. However, you may wish to break the work into separate work elements if it provides clarity or better supports project management. Note that different locations do not require multiple Produce Environmental Compliance Documentation work elements.

    Examples:

    Option 1 (lumping):

WE: 38. Improve Road for Instream Habitat Benefits
WE Title: Improve FS roads in Danson Creek subbasin
WE Description: Grade and gravel up to 11 miles of FS roads in the Danson Creek subbasin.

    Option 2 (splitting):

WE: 38. Improve Road for Instream Habitat Benefits
WE Title: Grade & gravel FS Road #1845 at Danson Creek
WE Description: Grade and gravel 2.3 miles of FS Road 1845 at Danson Creek to reduce erosion.

  • Rule 3 (Metrics): If you are doing multiple activities/projects at one location, be sure to list them in separate WEs so that we can capture the different metrics.

    Example:

WE: 38. Improve Road for Instream Habitat Benefits
WE Title: Improve FS Road #1845 at Danson Creek
WE Description: Grade and gravel 2.3 miles of FS Road 1845 at Danson Creek.

    WE: 33. Decommission Road/Relocate Road
WE Title: Decommission FS Road #322 at Kane Creek
WE Description: Scarify and rip 4.2 miles of FS Road 322 at Kane Creek.

WE: 184. Install Fish Passage Structure
WE Title: Replace Danson Creek culvert #3
WE Description: Replace Danson Creek culvert #3 with 1 pipe arch culvert able to withstand 100-year event.

    WE: 47. Plant Vegetation
WE Title: Erosion control at Danson Creek with vegetation
WE Description: Hydro-seed 1 acre of cut bank at Danson Creek RM 11 to control erosion.
